Daniel Craig Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

James Bond star Daniel Craig has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bond Producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, attended the ceremony to congratulate Craig and his contributions to charity.

Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek gave a speech at the ceremony, after becoming friends with Daniel Craig on the set of No Time To Die. Malek plays villain, Safin, in the upcoming Bond film.

No Time To Die is in Cinemas now, and marks Craig\’s final outing as James Bond. The long-awaited Bond film was released in UK cinemas last week, storming the UK box office. It is set to release in the US this weekend, hoping to set a franchise Box Office record. 

Craig\’s Star is located just outside 7007 Hollywood Boulevard, in honour of James Bond\’s code name, 007. His star is also next to former James Bond star, Roger Moore, and former Bond producer, Albert R. Broccoli.

Daniel Craig is best known for playing James Bond in 5 films, but he has also starred in films like Elizabeth, Knives Out, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Layer Cake and Steven Spielberg\’s Munich.

Next year will mark 60 years of the Bond franchise, which first started with 1962’s Dr No, starring Sean Connery. 

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

No Time To Die is in cinemas now in the UK and will release on Oct. 8th in the US.
