Letitia Wright Hospitalised with Minor Injuries on \’Black Panther: Wakanda Forever\’ Set
Letitia Wright has sustained minor injuries after an incident with a stunt rig on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It happened during an overnight shoot in Boston, according to sources obtained by Deadline.
“Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon,” said a Marvel spokesperson.
It is understood that the incident will not have an impact on the film’s shooting schedule. The film has primarily been shooting in Atlanta since June. Wright is reprising her role along with Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett in the sequel to the global hit. Ryan Coogler is returning as director and writer. New cast additions include Michaela Coel in an undisclosed role and Dominique Thorne, being introduced as Riri Williams, aka \’Ironheart\’.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to release on July 8, 2022.
